We have extensive experience with complex logistics projects and here are some examples of the work we have completed:

Mining Sector Projects

  • Zinc Concentrate Site Project

    Location: Mungana mine (near Chillagoe), Queensland

    Services Provided to Date:

    • Upfront logistics consultancy to develop pricing budget and full road user management plan.

    • Project Management.

    • Provide people and equipment at mine site to load concentrate.

    • Transport containers from the mine to the port of Townsville.

    • Customs/AQIS clearance.

    • Store and handle containers at depot.

    • Produce holding certificates.

    • Load vessels.

    • Ship concentrate to multiple traders in Europe and Asia.

    • Inventory management.

    • Reagent, chemicals and resupply product logistics from international and domestic locations to Mungana mine site.

    Volume Handled:

    • Circa 120,000 tons of zinc, copper, lead, gold and silver concentrates.

    • Approximately 250 tons per month of reagents, mill balls and consumables for the mine.

  • Gold Ore Haulage Campaign

    Location: Agate Creek Mine to Blackjack Processing Plant (Charters Towers), Queensland

    Services Provided to Date:

    • Transport of ore in triple/quad tipper roadtrains.

    • Self load trucks.

    • Turn-key project management of haulage program.

    Volume Handled:

    • 100,000t of gold ore in a 5 month project.

  • Tin, Zinc, Copper and Lead Concentrate

    Logistics Location: Mt Garnet to Townsville, Queensland

    Services Provided to Date:

    • Concentrate haulage in tippers.

    • Bulk bag and load containers at site and Townsville.

    Volume Handled:

    • 35,000t of zinc concentrate to Glencore’s bulk shed in Townsville.

    • 5,000t of lead into containers.

  • Gold Ore Mine

    Location: Marvel Loch (south of Southern Cross), Western Australia

    Services Provided to Date:

    • Supply of doubler and triple side tippers to transport gold ore from multiple stockpiles to the crusher on the Barto ROM.

    • Drivers load themselves or are loaded by a dedicated front end loader or excavator.

    • Supply of front end loaders / excavator and licensed operators.

    • Creation of access roads and road maintenance at off site third party stockpiles and old tailings dams.

    Volume Handled:

    • Commenced services in September 2021. 50,000t plus moved to date.

    • 1,000,000 tonnes forecasted to handle through 2022.

Construction Sector Projects

  • Mine Camp Expansion Project

    Location: Mulla Mulla camp, Near Newman, Western Australia

    Services Provided to Date:

    • Project Management.

    • Crane loading at point of origin.

    • Jacking services for heavier modules.

    • Transport ex Pilbara satellite camps, Perth and Brisbane suppliers to super-camp site.

    • Crane and jacking unload services.

    Volume Handled:

    • 600 modules handled of various sizes.

    • In addition – 360 Logistics has shipped and/or transported

    • 1,000+ other modular buildings from China and Thailand and around Western Australia and Queensland.

  • Construction of Salt Lake Potash Mine Site

    Location: Wiluna, Western Australia

    Services Provided:

    • Collection of multiple items of large and small freight from multiple manufacturers and fabricators in Perth.

    • Consolidation of smaller items to maximise trailer utilisation.

    • Delivery to site.

    • Crane and forklift unloading to temporary storage location and/or to foundation.

    Volume Handled to Date:

    • 100+ trailers making up inguage roadtrains.

    • Platform and float trailers for large items such as switchrooms.

  • Construction of Rail Lines

    Location: Dampier, Western Australia

    Services Provided to Date:

    • Breakbulk shipping – Laem Chabang to Dampier.

    • Customs and Quarantine clearance.

    • Discharge vessel and delivery to temporary laydown 80km south of Dampier

    Volume Handled to Date:

    • Thousands of tons of concrete rail sleepers.

    • Extendable trailer loads of rail turnouts from Perth to the Pilbara.

  • Lime Logistics

    Location: Laverton North, Melbourne, Victoria

    Services Provided to Date:

    • Inbound shipping of circa 2,500t of lime in bulk bags per month.

    • Unstuff container and store in dedicated lime bulk shed.

    • Decant lime from bulk bags into flowveyer.

    • Flowveyer loads lime into lime tanker.

    • Transport to final customer in Victoria.

    • In discussion with customer to extend relationship and similar service into at least two others states in Australia.

    Volume Handled to Date:

    • Circa 2,000t relocated by road from Brisbane to 360 Logistics Melbourne facility.

    • 2,500t of lime shipped from Malaysia to Melbourne per month.

    • Warehousing of lime and decanting of 500t plus per week through flowveyer.

    • All handled in purpose constructed lime chamber for customer.

Decommissioning / Demobilisation Projects

  • Hella Automotive – Plant Decommissioning

    Location: Mentone, Victoria to Mundra, India

    Services Provided:

    • Jacking and skating and forklift movement of all plant and equipment from facility.

    • Transport to container stuffing facility.

    • Sequenced loading based on customer specification.

    • All export formalities and export shipping.

    Volume Handled:

    • 78 x containers of various sizes.

    • 2,500cbm breakbulk shipment of larger items not suitable for container transportation.

  • Macmahon Mining Services

    Location: multiple mobilisations and demobilisations to/from remote mine sites in WA and QLD

    Services Provided:

    • Pre-mobilisation and demobilisation planning with Macmahon staff.

    • Arranging all travel permits for large loads.

    • Supervise loading of all equipment.

    • Transport of all equipment on a range of trailers from semi-trailers to 12-line platform trailers.

    • Supervise unloading and creation of intelligent storage map and manifest.

    Volume Handled to Date:

    • Thousands of trailer loads moved.

  • Sarens Cranes

    Location: multiple mobilisations and demobilisations to/from mine sites in WA and QLD and shipping to Indonesia

    Services Provided:

    • Loading and unloading trucks.

    • Scheduled transport with each crane body, boom section, counterweights and ancillary items travelling together.

    • Coastal shipping and international shipping.

    Volume Handled to Date:

    • Approximately 100 x cranes transported and shipped domestically and internationally.

Oil and Gas Sector Projects

  • Goldfields Pipeline Project

    Location: Huangpu, China to Goldfields region, Western Australia

    Services Provided to Date:

    • Project Management.

    • Origin AQIS inspection services and cleaning supervision in China.

    • International shipping – China to Fremantle.

    • Customs/AQIS clearance.

    • Vessel discharge to North Quay Rail Terminal.

    • Rail ex Fremantle to Kalgoorlie.

    • Storage in Kalgoorlie.

    • Load trucks and transport pipe to Granny Smith, Sunrise Dam and Tropicana mine sites.

    • Unbundle pipe and stockpile.

    • Inventory management.

    Volume Handled:

    • Approximately 300kms of gas pipe.

    • 16,744 lengths of 5.4mm and 9.3mm coated 8” pipe

  • Large gas tanks freight

    Location: Western Australia (Goldfields and Mid-West Regions)

    Services Provided to Date:

    • Early stage site visit and engagement with our customer’s customer for project planning.

    • Heavy haulage transport.

    • Transport to or from mine site of auxiliary items.

    • Crane load/unload.

    • Jacking and skating load/unload.

    • Storage.

    • Project reporting.

    • HSEQ compliance management and reporting.

    Volume Handled to Date:

    • 25+ moves of large gas tanks.

    • Largest tank handled: 130t, 30.0m x 6.5m x 6.5m (LWH).
